Dr. Irving joined CMI in March 1996. He
has over 35 years of documented success achieving dramatic improvements
in organizational productivity and processes. He has hands-on experience
in small teams and organizations of over 3,000 personnel in orchestrating
complex activities and ensuring high standards in program management,
research, and education.
Dr. Irving directs CMI’s government contract
activities at Brooks, Randolph, and Laughlin AFBs. In this capacity,
he manages support contracts for the scientific divisions of the
Human Effectiveness Directorate of the AF Research Laboratory (AFRL),
support contracts for the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, support
contracts for the Human Effectiveness Center of Excellence (HECOE)
for Non-Lethal Weapons Technology, and biowarfare research tasks
in the AF Research laboratory. He managed eight highly successful
tasks for an umbrella contract in the laboratory on Brooks AFB from
1996 to 1999. He manages computer support contracts at Laughlin
and Randolph AFBs that support undergraduate pilot and navigator
training, and instructor pilot training
Dr. Irving also serves as the Senior Program
Manager for Core 6 Solutions, a joint venture between CMI and dNovus
RDI of San Antonio. Core6 provides scientific and engineering support
to various organizations at Brooks AFB to include the Human Systems
Program Office, the Base Clinic, and the Air Force Institute for
Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Risk Assessment.
Active in the San Antonio community,
Dr. Irving is Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors of
the Brooks Aerospace Foundation and a Member of the Board of Directors
of the Brooks Heritage Foundation. Dr. Irving and his wife, Alice,
are one of the 2002 recipients of the Profiles in Leadership Award
for excellence in community volunteer work presented by the Mission
City Business and Professional Women’s Club of San Antonio,
Texas.
