Scientific & Technical

Our Services

CMI’s Scientific & Technical Support Services group, led by Dr. George W. Irving, III, is known for its responsiveness and superior program management. CMI has earned a reputation for being an authoritative and reliable source of scientific, engineering, and technical support services, studies, and research.

CMI’s scientific and technical support services focus on responding to the needs of our government clients, both as a prime contractor and subcontractor. Initially, CMI served its government customers in the core competency of intelligent information processing. Over the past 12 years, CMI has grown and diversified to offer additional support services to our government customers.

As a prime contractor, CMI has a proven track record of quality, innovative approaches to problem solving, customer commitment, responsiveness, and reliability. We are financially strong and have a DCAA approved accounting system with controls in place to support new project starts and to pay our subcontractors on time. Our billing processes have been approved for direct billing to the federal government since 1997. CMI’s effective contract management team is well-versed in FAR/DFARS clauses and regulations and the Code of Federal Regulations, as it relates to government procurement and small business issues.

Whether we are a prime or subcontractor, we have the same commitment to program success. Our effective management structure and responsive reporting processes accommodate projects of varying size and specifications. Above all, CMI is fully committed to delivering on budget, on time, and dedicated as a prime and/or subcontractor to the success of the total team.
